Self Regulation

The surface of the silver material continues to release positive ions until a balance in the water is reached. If water is removed and replaced with fresh, silver-free water, silver ions will once again be released until the balance is achieved once more. The silver concentration in the water is approximately 5-20 µg/l and therefore well below the established limits.

Argentosan®, with its ability to self-regulate, keeps the silver concentration at a constant level.
